The chemical composition of Q690E steel plate is mainly composed of carbon (C), silicon (Si), manganese (Mn), phosphorus (P), sulfur (S) and other elements, and also contains a certain amount of niobium (Nb) and vanadium (V). , titanium (Ti), chromium (Cr), nickel (Ni), copper (Cu), nitrogen (N), molybdenum (Mo), boron (B) and aluminum (Al) and other alloying elements. The content and proportion of these elements are carefully designed and controlled, giving Q690E steel plate high strength, high toughness, good welding performance and processing performance.

Specifically, carbon is one of the most important elements in Q690E steel plates, and its content is controlled at a low level to ensure the strength and toughness of the steel plates. These compounds can serve as precipitation strengthening phases, significantly improving the strength and toughness of steel. In addition, vanadium can also refine the grain structure of steel and reduce its brittleness, thereby improving its toughness. At the same time, vanadium can also improve the welding performance of steel and reduce the sensitivity of welding cracks.

Therefore, by rationally adding alloying elements such as niobium and vanadium, Q690E steel plate can obtain excellent strength and toughness, making it widely used in various heavy machinery and construction fields. It should be noted that the amount of alloying elements added needs to be precisely controlled to ensure the balance and stability of the steel plate properties. Adding too much or too little may cause the performance of the steel plate to decrease and fail to meet the usage requirements.
