30CrMo is a medium-carbon, low-alloy steel designed for enhanced strength and heat resistance. Belonging to the chromium-molybdenum family, it is engineered to perform under moderate thermal and mechanical stress, making it a versatile choice for industrial applications requiring durability and reliability.

Chemical Composition

The steel’s performance is rooted in its composition:

Carbon (C): 0.26-0.34%, contributing to hardness.

Silicon (Si): 0.17-0.37%, enhancing elasticity.

Manganese (Mn): 0.40-0.70%, improving toughness.

Chromium (Cr): 0.80-1.10%, increasing wear and corrosion resistance.

Molybdenum (Mo): 0.15-0.25%, boosting heat strength.

Phosphorus (P) and Sulfur (S): ≤0.035% each, kept low to preserve ductility.

This mix optimizes its mechanical properties for diverse uses.

Dimensions

30CrMo is available in plates (thickness 2-80 mm, width 1000-2500 mm, length 2000-12,000 mm), bars (diameter 10-350 mm), and pipes (outer diameter 6-530 mm), meeting various design requirements.
